Improving My Comment
Today in room 1 Koka Maria came in and helped improve our blog comment that we did with our blogging buddies. We had to insert our original comment into the top bit then add our improved one in the bottom bit. Here it is:

WeVideo - Keywords
For about 2 or 3 weeks Koka Maria has been coming in and helping Room 1 with their smart surfing We Videos. Koka Maria taught us how to use WeVideo and screencastify on our chromebooks. After she told us how to use WeVideo and Screencastify we made a WeVideo and inserted our screencastify, but were not aloud to have our faces in it so our class had to do audio on WeVideo. Holiday Slow Write!
This week in Rm 1 we have been doing a slow write about a time in the holidays we enjoyed. I wrote about going to this little rock place with my friends that live in
Wellighton. We had a really good time there.
Wipeout
"Woohoo!" I love going to the beach. The tide is high and the sand is wet but that won't stop me from going out to that rocky island. The beach is the BEST!
Quickly but gently I found my way out to the slippery rock. I wonder if the waves will get bigger and smash me off?
Although, I slipped over a few times, that didn’t stop me going further out.
Right after the last wave came off the set I clambered my way out to the island but one slimy, slippery and smooth rock made me fall over into the fishy and salty water.
Why is it that when ever I am so close to doing something, I fall over and something bad always happen.
I tried to stick the landing but I wasn’t speedy enough “OWWWWW!”

Nikaus Interesting Intro
On Monday and Tuesday this week we have been working on our intros for Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu with Room 4, Blaketown School. We wrote about ourself and what we like doing and stuff like that. I wrote about what I activities I do out of school and what my favourite subject and games I like playing at morning tea and lunch. Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu means: I write to you and you write to me. Nikaus 3 Stars and a Wish!
Yesterday and Today in our class we did a Term 2 learning reflection. It had all these questions we had to answer about our learning. We had questions like this: How much did you know about science before you started? We did this so our teachers would know how we think about our learning and what we need to do more.

Nikaus Improved Nerds Of Success

Ingredients:
3 Teaspoons of Happiness
5 Tablespoons of Confidence
15 Grams of Creativity
1 Litre of Faith
2 handfuls of Responsibility
½ a Cup of Independence
3 Cups of Laughter
5 Grams of Focus
1 cup of Friendship
3 Teaspoons of Happiness

Equipment:
1 big bowl
1 small bowl Something to Stir with
Cupcake Pans
A dish to serve with
1 big bowl
1 small bowl Something to Stir with

Method:
First of all preheat your oven to 365 degrees if you want them nice and crispy.
Grab your first two ingredients and stir them in the small bowl.
Add your 1 litre of faith and your ½ a cup of independence to your small bowl and mix it with the ingredients that are already in there.
Put your last three ingredients in the big bowl then stir it together.
Get your 15 grams of creativity and your 2 handfuls of Responsibility and mix them together.
Tip your small bowl and mix all your ingredients together.
Share out your mixture into each cake pan evenly and leave it in the oven for 30 minutes.
Once you have left it in the oven for 30 minutes dish it out onto the plates/bowls.
